Good product, love the texture
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I've just started using this filament to print stone-textured tiles for tabletop gaming. My initial tests indicate clogging on smaller nozzles. I was able to print a single hex tile with a 0.3mm nozzle, but attempts to print multiple tiles on the same bed resulted in clogs and failed prints. Switching to a 0.4mm nozzle has apparently resolved this issue, but time will tell with additional prints. The material also expands a bit more than other materials, which has forced me to use a lower extrusion multiplier than my usual PLA+ material.
The texture is very interesting. It's definitely multi-colored, but the color texture is quite fine and the surface feels very smooth, almost paper-like. I'll need to test if the filament absorbs moisture, which may necessitate a clear sealant prior to any additional painting or texturing.
Surface texture is clean and smooth. Between the texture and thinner layers, it's hard to see the lines on the layers, and I suspect a light sanding with a very fine grit may hide them entirely. (Again, need to test this theory.)
I noticed one review for the mossy green version of this had multiple complaints about brittleness, roughness, stiffness of the filament making it harder to feed, poor layer adhesion, stringing. I've not seen these issues in my single purchased roll. The material is a bit stiffer, but I don't feel like it's brittle. It can kind of tear if you bend it fully, but it doesn't snap like an old/bad filament would. It also unrolls fine from my spool, which sits on TUSH++ rollers above my printer.
Final verdict: I really like this material, despite the expensive price tag (currently $40/700g). The stone texture is nice. I do wish the color varied a little more with some darker mottling, but it looks great. Layers print cleanly, and top layers look nice and smooth. Beware of clogging with smaller nozzles, and adjust your extrusion as needed.
Since it is expensive and contains fiber filler, this will be used only for specialty projects.
