Description
Extrudr Wood is a filament from the BIO design range, made from 100% renewable raw materials and containing spruce fibres. The material is also biodegradable according to DIN EN ISO 14855.
Due to its composition, Extrudr Wood has particularly good properties with regard to pressure loads. The wood fibres allow the material to stiffen and therefore minimise the elongation at break. By optimising the material, it was also possible to achieve higher impact resistance.

great for some things
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
I printed at 180deg nossle temp. Bed of 50deg. Speed 75%. Got really really nice results like this, the layers smooth together beautifully to make an almost perfectly smooth result without having to sandpaper it down! The adhesion to the bed was perfect with the Prusa glue stick, stuck very well but I could remove the print afterwards too.
Its a very nice matte finish, but looks like cardboard not wood.
Its no good for any working parts, as its brittle and breaks quite easily.
prints overhangs very well!
