Description
PCTG belongs to the same family as the popular PET-G, but offers higher impact strength (up to 20 times higher than PET-G), temperature resistance and clarity. This makes PCTG an excellent alternative to PET-G.
Since it does not require a heated chamber during the printing process, it can also be used in most private 3D printers without any problems. Due to its high dimensional stability and low shrinkage, it is also suitable for people without much experience in 3D printing.
The robust filament achieves results of approx. 90 KJ / m2 in the Izod test (notched sample) and withstands temperatures of up to 76 ° C.
Application of PCTG
Industry → Spare parts, small series, utility models
Automotive → Engine components, vehicle component housings, air inlets, filling devices for liquids
Sports → Accessories, protectors, airsoft components
Medicine → Prostheses, medical devices

Amazing filament
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I have printed a lot of PETG. This PCTG is superior in every way. It doesn't stick to the nozzle, is incredibly impact resistant, doesn't warp any more than PETG (so almost not at all) and is a tiny bit lighter. It sticks to Prusa powder coated spring steel sheet just like PETG. I think it's as easy to print as PLA except doesn't bridge as well. I have not tried annealing it yet but apparently you can and it becomes harder. If you have PCTG, other than price, I can't imagine any reason to use PETG anymore.
