OUR TAKE

The Atlas range is the highest aspect in the line-up at around 11 AR, sizing from 570 to 1340. Kane’s personal every day foil! With more focus on pump & glide, the Atlas is an excellent choice for winging and downwind SUP Foiling.

Lots of camber in this design may be a game of compromises, but Kane has figured out a way to lower the stall speed and ride a smaller area reducing the wetted surface…this translates to better top end and an overall wide speed range.

Most people are riding these at 10-20% smaller than a standard HA front wing. With a huge focus on the connection points, the design team has put loads of time into making this system stiff and future proof. The 15.5mm thickness/125mm cord on the mast offers a low drag profile, yet keeps the system stiff without breaking the bank.

Zero mast taper offers a consistent feel, and a beefy connection to the shortened base plate maximizes the space in the track box. A base plate shim can be used and is provided with each foil kit, as is the complete hardware kit with tail shims.

All hardware is coated with e-glass to prevent the corrosion/electrolysis between the carbon and aluminum. Tail shims are chosen based off of the addition of the mast number and front wing number (the resulting number shim is used). This system allows for very consistent tuning across the KT Foil line-up (no more guessing!).

Tails can be mixed and matched as well, so if riding the Atlas in the surf or winging it in choppy water, you may consider trying the Nomad tail. The alloy fuse is offered in two sizes, the shorter 56cm is great for surf/wake foiling, or loosening up a big front wing. The longer 63cm fuse is ultra pitch stable and easier to ride. The 63cm fuse has become our standard issue, go-to length for winging and DW SUP foiling here in the Gorge.

Drawing on 15 years of hydrofoil design experience, the Havoc collection blends the turning characteristics of the legendary Surfv2 wings with the glide of our High Aspect wings, delivering to both pros and joes a suite of wings whose ease of use unlocks untapped performance.

In the world of surfing, performance is often judged based on three attributes:

Speed, Power, and Flow.
The Havoc collection has been designed to unlock these attributes.

The speed is derived from a medium+ aspect ratio.

The power originates from the wing outline and stable profile, allowing you to roll into a carve and exit with more inertia than you

entered with.

The flow results from the finely tuned camber, which enables you to easily navigate the ever-changing transitions of a wave’s canvas while maintaining a stable lift profile.

Unlike many brands that scale the same design across multiple sizes. We meticulously design and test each wing to have unique dimensions that best suit the specific conditions and rider profile it’s intended for.

In line with this philosophy, the Havoc series is available in the following sizes.

92 Havoc

Built for high-performance surf and wing foiling, this foil can draw any line. Its higher aspect ratio ensures excellent speed and efficiency, while the outline and curvatures enable it to roll into turns like a much lower aspect foil. Consider this the performance shortboard of foils. This wing is large enough for skilled riders to paddle in with, but for the average rider, it serves more as a high-performance tow-in wing.

105 Havoc

The Florence 21 X mixes traits from the 25Glide, 20Carve, and 21Flow all in the name of making an ultra high- performance downwind tail. The result is a tail that Nathan describes as “being covered in dish soap, the glide is psycho”. The medium length fuselage provides just enough stability, while the low angle of incidence provides limitless glide to connect bumps.

The Camber Pro is the latest series addition to our wing lineup. Quick and light on the water, these wings are designed to fly in a slightly higher speed bracket. They fly smooth through the turns without too much lift, so you can still feel in control.

Our Glide Series back wings are used best for maximizing efficiency linking waves while pumping or down-winding. They are also effective for maximizing battery life on the eFoil.

The 25 Glide V2 Back Wing is a shop favorite for pure speed and maximum efficiency. It’s a high-performance wing, great for pumping and fast and loose turning.

While it’s not recommended for the eFoil, the 25 Glide V2 Back Wing is amazing for surfing.
