Ion Slash Core Helmet 2025

The 360°-Fit system allows for a quick, snug, and comfortable fit right out of the box. Whereas standard helmets are only adjustable on their back part, the Slash Core’s headband leads from the back to the front right around the entire head. This considers the full circumference and individual shape of the rider’s head – instead of simply pressing it against the front of the helmet. 360° Fit results in enhanced wearing comfort, less movement while riding or when crashing, and an even distribution of pressure. To top it off, the headband’s adjustability extends the size range meaning riders can select from two sizes only.

ION’s 3D Fit Technology provides the perfect fit for each individual’s body size and shape. Your individual fit derives from back length and waist circumference. Therefore the Riot Curv is available in regular and tall sizes. The exchangeable Ergo_Pad on the inside offers optimal lumbar support in two profiles (each harness comes with two options – thin and thick pad – choose what suits you best). The Riot Curv is medium rigid (flex index 14) and offers a good balance between direct feeling, flexibility, and support. An ultra-lightweight Curv construction distributes forces evenly throughout the harness. At the same time, it’s flexible enough to allow for optimum freedom of movement. Non-water-absorbent Hyper_Foam contributes to the overall ergonomic fit and light weight while the internal flex belt provides flexibility in the front. ION’s sleek Spectre Bar (including kite hook) completes the Riot Curv. Its Curv_Flaps create a seamless and optimal force distribution throughout the harness. QUAD-TEX

Our canopies are made out of Teijin Quad-tex, specifically developed with Naish to provide a rigid and responsive feel, also lasting over time to provide you with the same direct feel after one session or 100 sessions. Quad-tex is coated using a patented procedure, keeping the coating bonded and fresh on the material after prolonged UV and wind exposure. The 4×4 yarns provide a balanced, low stretch characteristic, maintaining the kites profile exactly how it was designed. Quad-tex is the highest quality canopy available on the market.

The FTW is the signature model of Brian Finch. The FTW is a low volume, narrow, light weight, highly reactive shape designed to meet the demands of top performance foiling. The convex deck exaggerates heel to toe pressure while the flat bottom and hard rails shear away water on touch downs and bashing the lip and foam, and increasing control. The FTW is a great crossover board, ideal for strapped foiling, surf foiling, wake foiling, and dock starts.
