Description
The ecoPLA has been slightly modified to make it perfect for 3D printing applications.
PLA (polylactic acid) is a non-toxic biodegradable 3D printing material.
3DJake ecoPLA is the cheap & high-quality alternative for many printers.
PLA is one of the most popular 3D printing materials due to its features, good printability and ease of use.
The properties of the ecoPLA from 3DJake:
- Minimal shrinkage
- Minimal warping
- Good diameter and roundness tolerances
- No unpleasant odours
- Easy to print
- Tougher & less brittle than conventional PLA filament
3DJake ecoPLA filament can be used with almost any FDM 3D printer.

Stress Tech
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Gone through 2x1KGs rolls with no problems, no jamming's, what so ever. Used the Micro Swiss A2 MK8 hardened nozzle on an Ender 5 plus. Used 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 nozzle versions and they all worked well. The higher the infill the longer the charge it holds. Ran some prints at 80mm/s speed and the prints still came up well. Leaves a nice bone finish with a fine hint of grey. Glows well but the strength doesn't last long, but still holds a very small charge all the way through the night.
Now using a 0.8mm Micro Swiss A2 MK8 hardened nozzle all the way at 80mm/second speed. Bed temp: 60c and nozzle temp at 215c because I'm using a all metal Micro-swiss hot end and a big 0.8mm nozzle printing at 0.4mm layers. I would put the nozzle temp to 210c if I were to use a smaller nozzle though.
I would buy this, again and again. Thank you 3D-Jake.Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)

Glow in the Dark PLA - good but not perfect
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
Does hold the charge reasonably long, but could be a bit longer. The filament does barely fit on the spool (250g), therefore it slides off the spool at the beginning sometimes. Does not happen if you have used a bit of the spool anymore.
Otherwise does exactly as advertised and worth the extra money. Was this rating helpful? (0) (0)

Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Compared with other "Glow in the dark" products, this eco glow is incredible as it actually glows very brightly. Print wise it flows very well in two machines. My only problem is fine tuning my zortrax printer to optimise the finish. I am printing in a cold garage so heated bed is a must. However if you are printing inside I reckon 3D Jake is a winner.

Stunning filament. Highly UV-reactive and strong glow properties. Easy to print, too: some minor stringing but not unexpected. Will try a slightly lower temperature setting next time to see if this resolves it.

Its a very strong and great glowing PLA
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
The glow is awesome, though it dont glow as long as i wanted it to glow, still its very nice.
I printed some stuff with this and some stars and moons etc to my daughter so she had something to look at while she was falling asleep, they where a hit.
The prints are VERY strong its a strong filament, so i think it might wearout a brass nozzle if you print 1kg, so be sure to use a harder nozzle.
