Description

CarbonFil ™ is a light-weight and incredibly rigid reinforced carbon fibre filament.
The FormFutura CarbonFil ™ filament is based on a unique mix of HDglass™ with 20% extremely light-weight and relatively long carbon fibres.

By using ultra light-weight and relatively long carbon fibres, the CarbonFil ™ is twice as rigid as HDglass™ and the impact strength increases by more than 10%.
The heat resistance is relatively high at 85 °C.

Printing with CarbonFil ™ filaments is very simple, because the material is almost free from warping and distortion.

Objects that are printed using CarbonFil ™ have an amazing look and feel. The material does not require a heated bed.

The filament's printing temperature is between 230-265 °C.

  • Why is it that this doesn’t need a heated bed & other carbon base filaments do ?

This question has not been answered yet.

  • I made a lamp socket, but it gets pretty warm (±95°C) and I'm wondering if this might help to dissipate some of that heat and keep it cooler, I'm currently using regular PETG
