Description
Acetone is a volatile, flammable, colourless, clear liquid for smoothing certain 3D printing materials with specially developed devices such as the Zortrax Apoller. Acetone works with ABS, ASA and HIPS filaments to eliminate the visibility of the layers in 3D printing. A smoothing after treatment with this type of solvent not only gives a beautiful appearance but also improves the mechanical properties of the printed part.
Acetone should only be used by professionals with a suitable device such as the Zortrax Apoller or a suitable ventilation system. Because of its rapid evaporation, it dries quickly. Therefore the container should not be open longer than necessary.

I have also noticed this but I wouldn't recommend using ANY acetone on PEI sheets. PEI is soluble in acetone and acetone will basically eat away at your PEI surface. It is a very extreme measure to clean your bed surface with acetone and normally one would only require hot water or IPA as a solvent to scrub the surface clean.
