Description
WHAT
Magigoo PP-GF is designed exclusively for use with glass-reinforced polypropylene filaments (GFPP). This adhesive ensures that the prints adhere when the print bed is hot, and that the part can be easily removed after cooling.
WHY
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer which has good strength, impact resistance and ductility properties, making it suitable as a construction material. However, PP is a soft material and, like most plastics, can be reinforced by adding fibres to a polymer composite. These materials are usually stiffer and stronger than the starting polymer and can result in a material having a very high strength to weight ratio. Compared to most PP filaments, the GF30PP warps to a greater extent. This type of material requires a completely new adhesive formulation to fulfil its characteristic features.
HOW
Magigoo PP-GF has been developed and tested to work with 30% glass fibre filled polypropylene
- Shake the bottle vigorously
