Speed up to 6000 mm/min

The 10-watt laser module works at an incredible speed of up to 6000 mm/min, making it even 8 times faster than the 1.6-watt laser module. Even an 8 mm thick larch wood can be cut with it - simply impressive!

Incredible precision

Fast Axis Collimating (FAC) lenses are built into both laser diodes. In the first step, the module uses these lenses to compress the laser spot of each individual diode. The laser beams from both laser diodes are then combined using beam combination technology. This results in a higher output power and an ultra-fine laser focus of 0.05 x 0.02 mm for a higher energy density. For high-quality laser work with incomparable details.

Efficient evacuation of fumes generated by cutting

The laser module has a special system that eliminates any fumes generated during laser cutting. The resulting fumes are fed directly into the grids of the laser engraving and cutting platform, from where they are discharged.

Ultra-fast autofocus

You no longer have to measure the material manually. Instead, you place it on the platform and wait for the module to calculate it for you using the triangulation technique! This method measures the thickness of the material in a way that captures some data from the camera and light emitter. Finally, the module adjusts itself in Z-alignment so that the focal point falls exactly on the material surface.

The autofocus is completed within a few seconds.

The laser module features a wide-angle HD camera that captures footage with incredible performance and provides an instant preview of your laser project in Luban.

Bespoke software Snapmaker Luban

The Luban software allows you to refresh your basic knowledge of laser cutting and learn other valuable tricks. Learn how image transformation works, how to set the right parameters for different materials and how to cut 3D models correctly. Suitable for professionals and beginners!

Gyro sensor for more security

The module is equipped with a gyro sensor to prevent the laser beam from escaping unexpectedly if the module is installed incorrectly or deviates from its intended position. For the safety of the user and all other people in the vicinity!

Two blower systems for longer service life

The module has two separate fan systems - one for the PCBA and one for the laser diode. Such a system ensures that the laser diode is properly cooled. This is important because prolonged exposure to high temperatures will shorten the life of the diode.

With proper cooling and proper use, the diode life can even be as high as 8 000-10 000 hours!

Temperature sensor and overheating protection

If the temperature sensor detects an operating temperature of over 55 °C, the module switches off automatically and immediately. When the temperature normalises, the laser work can continue.

Upgrades with additional Snapmaker modules

This 10-watt laser module is compatible with all models from the Snapmaker 2.0 series. Only with the 150 models, there is no compatibility. The laser module can also be used with the rotary module, the emergency stop button, the air cleaner and the CAN hubs.
